Welcome to Prince Arthur Road Indoor Bowls Club

Coaching Monday 9th September

To all those who attended the above evening I hope you all have gained some more experience from the coaching which was well attended by members.

I shall like to thank all the coaches and players that helped to make the evening go well.

As you know I read out list of rule & etiquette before playing.

It was a lot to take in and some of you may not remember everything, so I shall be putting a reminder up on the white coaching board situated next to RINK 8.

I have also asked if it can be put on the web site.

If you were unable to make the session you can look up what was said on the evening.  If you would like to have coaching, please do approach one of the coaches and to arrange a session with them.

Closing date for your small change, (1p’s, 2p’s, 5p’s, etc.), will be Sunday 22nd September 2019.  So for all those who keep saying, “Ooooh, I have some money for you………at home”, please can you bring it into the club before the closing date, of Sun 22/09/19.  No matter how small the donation, all monies gratefully accepted and don’t forget, you will all get a chance to win whatever is in the pot come November!

Linda Hoare is still after your pics of when you were young for her “Guess Who?” competition, so please pass them on to her asap.

Prince Arthur Road Indoor Bowls Club was founded in 1989 and has one of the largest playing areas in the Kent area with 8 rinks.

It gives the opportunity for all members, including those with a disability, in the Medway and surrounding areas to play bowls all year round.

The Winter season commences at the end of September and culminates with Club Finals and presentations in Mid April.

We then continue with the Summer programme which runs from the end of April to Mid September.

The club has a full programme of bowling to suit all ages and ability ranging from Internal Leagues, Club, National and County Competitions,
Organised Roll Ups and Casual Play.

For the Social bowlers there can be as many as three matches at weekends against external clubs from the South East of England.
Many of these are meal matches that include a fabulous meal provided by our experienced catering team.

The club is situated in Prince Arthur Road, Brompton, Gillingham.

Directions are available in the how to find us section.

We have ample free parking and the buses stop just outside the club.

Regular coaching sessions are held by our fully qualified coaches.
