Welcome to Prince Arthur Road Indoor Bowls Club

30 YEARS YOUNG!

Saturday 15/02/20 – QUIZ NIGHT, SOCIAL EVENT.

Much appreciation goes to all those members and friends, (just shy of 130 people), who ventured out into the terrible weather on Saturday night and came to the Club, to support the quiz night.  As such, 19 teams, showed their knowledge, (or lack of it, in some cases!), as they battled it out, in a very social atmosphere, with the event, (entry and raffle), raising just over £400 and the bar taking nearly £500, on the night, thus a superb effort by everybody.  Many thanks to Katie Hilder and Sue Smith who worked their socks off all night behind the bar and thanks also, to all those who helped set up and clear away, before and after the event.  Biggest thanks of the night go to the hard working quiz master John Lake, who not only came up with all the questions, but also compared and ran the whole event by himself, ensuring that the evening was a great success.  For those interested, I believe aforementioned gentleman has posted footage of the event, on the PARIBC Facebook page.

Score cards - Winter Internal Leagues

Just 4 weeks into the season and we are already experiencing problems with the completion of scorecards.

Players names must consist of Initial, Surname and be clearly legible.

If they are missing or unreadable Monitors are duty bound to return them to the Office who forward them to the Team Leaders to be corrected. Team Leaders then correct them and send them back to the office for return to Monitor. A complete waste of time for everybody.

Please do not sign a card unless all players names, home and away, are entered correctly.

Many of these are meal matches that include a fabulous meal provided by our experienced catering team.

The club is situated in Prince Arthur Road, Brompton, Gillingham.  Directions are available in the how to find us section.
