Prince Arthur Juniors

Prince Arthur Juniors

Prince Arthur Juniors meet in the Winter season on a Monday Night between 18:00 – 1915. We welcome any young person from age 7 upwards who likes the challenge of learning and playing a new game.

The present members of the Section are keen and competitive and at a later stage we will be entering into the County individual and team competitions. Within the Club, there will be Junior Competitions each year for which trophies will be awarded

Above all, the aim of the coaches is to foster a spirit of friendship and enjoyment and to develop the young peoples' skills so that, if they wish, they can aim for the heights! To those who say that bowls is a game only for the older generation many, if not most, National and International competitions feature players in their late teens, 20’s and 30’s who began playing as youngsters, and several such players represent their countries in senior international teams.
Do come along to the Club on a Monday evening, see what we get up to and learn the basic skills which, when developed, may one day lead to a place in a team representing the nation or a victory in a national or international competition.
