Prince Arthur got off to a roaring start, pity the first two ends only counted as one shot on each end, our good fortune continued until the visitors found how to play on our newly stretched carpet. Mick Day on rink 5 was 7-0 on the 5th end, and most of Prince Arthur’s teams were all leading the way at that time. Sadly it was not to last, but we fought valiantly and it was nip and tuck throughout the game.
