Maurice Williams
It is with great sadness to inform you that a long-standing and beloved member and larger than life character of RBBG ( Blind Bolwers) Maurice the Hat Williams has passed away, following a very short stay in hospital after being admitted after a fall.
Has passed peacefully with his family by his side on 22nd January 2025.
Maurice The Hat, who was a longstanding member of PA & Sturdee, has always been a regular at bowls inside & out winning lots of cups, shields & praise for playing for the visually impaired and also alongside sighted clubs he supported.
He will be greatly missed on and off the rink.
An accomplished around sports man he loved swimming. Known also for his great cricket skills. He even had a go at skiing!
What a character, what a void he has left in our group.
Len Sharpe
Len sadly passed away on Tuesday 17th December, he had been a resident of Pembroke House Naval Home for a few months.

Doreen Jenkins
Doreen sadly passed away Saturday 7th December. Doreen’s funeral will be held on Tuesday 28th January 1pm at Medway Crematorium.
