Trev’s Match 2026

After the post – match meal, Vice Chairman, Marc Carr, (who organised and ran the day, along with Sue Smith), thanked everyone for playing, hoped they enjoyed the day and then explained that he never knew Trev, but most people knew that he was a director, club captain, social secretary,  coach and bar manager who made the club friendly and good,  it was decided that each year an award was to be made for the people who helped the club and who may have slipped under the radar for their efforts.  This year it was decided that Terry Reynolds, Alex Routen, John Tuff and Doug Whiteoak were awarded the Trophy for the upkeep and care of the green, as well as running the Friday night fish and chip roll up and also to John Pursey, who behind the scenes sells woods and items that are no longer needed, to raise money for the club.  Doug Whiteoak was there to accept the award on behalf of the other gents and it is hoped to get pics of the others, with the trophy, at a later date – Sue Smith 04/01/26.
