Well done to all those who played in the first outdoors match of the summer social season, away at Civil Service BC, on Wed 06/05/26 and what a close fought thing, losing overall by just 06 shots, (93 – 86), yet winning on 04 rinks.  What a brilliant effort all round, with particular congrats., to those 04 members, (John Eaton, Dianne Hemming, Roger Hemming and Colin Medhurst),  who played, having never had an outdoor game in their life, (home garden practise aside!) and all did very, very, well indeed.  Thanks to Sandra Tillman and Guinness Whatman for their unstinting support, watching on, whilst both wearing 27 layers of finest M&S thermal underwear, to beat the chill!
