Many thanks to all those who drove, gave lifts and played in the social match, overseas, (The Thames), last Sat, 23/05, at Havering IBC in Essex.  On the hottest day of the year and with their club having no air con, the match was played on the site of the BBC war series, “Tenko”!  Thanks also for the support from Pete Mears’s good lady, who many thought, (Pete included), had a better game than him………and she wasn’t even playing!
