We ran a competition at the club on Sunday 22nd September 2024.

Thank you to all the members, who supported this day and the club.

Unfortunately, we ended up with 3 players who dropped out to illness,
which cannot be avoid, I hope those concerned have a speedy recovery.

With 4 rounds to play

The format is based on the World Bowls held at Potters every January.

Play 2 Set and 3 ends in each set. If each pair win a set, they play a
tie breaker end, where only one shot deciding the winner.

The games started with 12 pairs. With 1 pair who had a bye to second round.

We then had 2 groups with winner in the winners Group & And the Losers in
 the Plate Group. All playing in a knockout in round 2, Semi-Finals and a Final.

There were many games that went to a Tie breaker to decide a winner of a game.
